Returning to an old favorite on the content calendar today, the What You Get… post. Inspired by a recurring column in the New York Times’ real estate section, this week’s edition takes a look at how much home you can buy for $950,000 in Maine, Florida and Washington. Since the article highlights a condo in Miami, FL, I thought it would be a good time to delve back into this topic and see what $950,000 might get you here in northeast Florida.
I think the properties below are a pretty good representation of the types of homes and neighborhoods you’ll find around here at that price point, including a single-family home in the gated community of Coastal Oaks at Nocatee, a 2-story townhouse close to the beach in Jacksonville Beach and a nicely updated home in desirable Sawgrass Country Club.
