Jacksonville and St. Augustine GolfPunxsutawney Phil may be predicting six more weeks of winter, but here in Florida, we’re already thinking golf. With so many golf courses, golf course communities and golf-related events, it’s clear that the game of golf translates to big business in Florida.

In fact, according to this article in Fort Myers Florida Weekly, Florida has more than 21,294 golf holes, more than any other state. It’s also number one in the country when it comes to the number of tourists visiting the state specifically to play golf.
