The housing market in northeast Florida continues to improve. The numbers in March follow the recent trend of declining inventory and an increase in pending sales. Best of all, March data also show a slight increase (4.8%) in Median Sales Price.
This is all consistent with what I’m seeing “on the ground” as I work with buyers and sellers in the area. In fact, as you can see from my most recent blog post, “How ‘Let Me Sleep on It’ Can Lead to a Real Estate Nightmare”, buyers are beginning to find that they may no longer have the luxury of taking too much time to make a purchasing decision. Wait too long before putting your offer in writing, many buyers are learning, and you may find that someone else has snatched that home you’ve been eyeing…
