Real estate testimonials tend to be pretty straightforward. “Realtor X sold my house fast, and for a great price!” Or, “Agent Y found us the perfect house, in the perfect neighborhood, and negotiated a great price.”
Nothing wrong with that. When a transaction goes smoothly, everyone is happy. But what happens when a transaction doesn’t go as planned, or, more interestingly, doesn’t happen at all?
We found out recently when a potential customer decided to relocate to a part of Florida outside our service area. Read on to see what they had to say:
We were introduced to Kim Sandberg by another Re/Max Realtor® who was selling our house in New Hampshire. Right from the start, Kim was responsive and took the time to get to know our situation and recommend a course of action that we should take. I could sense great energy and willingness to please her potential clients, which was refreshing as our move to Florida was not all handled with the same level of professionalism and customer-focus that Kim brings.
Whenever we had questions on the unfamiliar but beautiful St. Augustine area, Kim readily answered our questions without rushing us off the phone that many others would have done. Throughout our “discovery” phase of Florida and desirable places to potentially live within the price points that we wanted to remain in, Kim offered relevant and useful suggestions. One example that really comes to mind is when we hadn’t spoken to Kim in a number of months. When I next called, unannounced on a Saturday and knowing we would be in the St. Augustine area the following day and explained that we wanted to use the time wisely, not only did she return my call promptly, but after we spoke she quickly assembled a number of useful website links for us to follow up on. Actions like that are not lost on me.
When we were considering another part of Florida outside of her territory, she gladly connected us with another broker with the same qualities. When we were at crossroads with our situation and wondering which direction we should take, Kim was there to counsel us.
And though we settled on a location outside of Kim’s territory, and she never made a penny off of us, she was genuinely happy for us. The important thing to take away from this experience is that although we never met Kim, we could sense that she embraced her line of work and cared about the people that she worked with, which is huge with us.
Bottom line, and I am a bottom line type of person, great experience and full confidence that Kim is a great choice for anyone looking to buy or sell in the St. Augustine area.
