Two More Schools Slated to Open for the 2021 School Year
St. Johns County continues to grow rapidly, posting a 4.2% population increase from 2017 to 2018. To keep pace with the influx of new families and students, the county recently announced two more new schools, both scheduled to be open in time for the 2021 school year.
K-8 School MM
Located at the south end of the Nocatee development, the new school will sit on 25 acres at the intersection of Crosswater Parkway and Pineland Road. The land for the school was donated by The PARC Group, developer of Nocatee. It’s the 4th school site that The PARC Group has donated to the county.
High School HHH
Further south, in the World Golf Village area, St. Johns County School Board approved the purchase of 68.7 acres, which will be the site of high school “HHH”. The school will be on International Golf Pkwy., next to Mill Creek Academy, and should accommodate approximately 2,100 students.
