With an estimated price tag of about $8.7 million, Nease’s renovation will go well beyond just a nip and tuck. The plan is to add an additional 600 and 700 student stations over 2-5 years to help keep pace with current and projected growth in St. Johns County.
The new design will also enhance safety, creating a main floor gateway entrance into the school through a single area. Students will enjoy improved access to locker stations, as well as an updated cafeteria. And parents will appreciate a completely overhauled bus loop and parking areas, providing easier, safer access to the school. Work on the renovations will begin this summer.
