The housing market recovery in St. Johns County, Florida continues to accelerate as more requests for building permits emerge. As noted in this article from the St. Augustine Record, a number of new housing developments are being considered, including:
- Encanta, a Planned Unit Development (PUD) off S.R. 16 that calls for 580 single-family homes, as well as office/commercial space
- Chasewood, a PUD off US-1, south of International Golf Parkway, that calls for 68 homes
- Arbor Mill, a PUD on CR 16A that calls for 252 single family homes
Other developments of note:
- Nocatee continues its build-out with new neighborhoods coming soon: Greenleaf Lakes, Siena at Town Center, The Villas at Nocatee and Cypress Trails
- ICI Homes has broken ground on Tamaya at Beach & Kernan in Duval County, a gated community planned for 2,400 homes
- Segovia near World Golf Village will consist of 220 townhomes, with 60 acres of preserved wetlands
