Positive trends continue in the housing market as a whole in Northeast Florida. Closed sales are up year-over-year, as is the median sales price. As always, we’ll caution home buyers and sellers on reading too much into national, and even regional, stats, as numbers at the neighborhood level can be drastically different.
In this months report, for instance, you can see median sales price in north Ponte Vedra Beach is up nearly 50%. Down the road in south Ponte Vedra Beach, Ponte Vedra and Nocatee, the median sales price rose just 3%. So while numbers overall are positive, they don’t translate equally across all neighborhoods. In short, a Realtor can help you understand what’s happening in your neighborhood by providing the latest, most accurate sales data.
