Inventory continues to be the big issue in February, with a decrease of 31.5% year over year in Northeast Florida. The inventory trend aligns with what many housing experts are seeing nationally, as well, as evidenced by this timely post over at The KCM Blog.
That said, it’s important not to rely too heavily on national trends when buying or selling in a particular neighborhood. I’ll direct your attention to region 26 in this report, one of the areas we serve, where inventory is actually up 3.4% and the median sale price is down 2.4%.
