Kim Sandberg received the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors (NEFAR) “Silent Angel” award for 2015. The award recognizes a NEFAR Realtor® member who has remained in the background, while going well above and beyond in serving NEFAR through volunteer service and/or support. The award was presented at NEFAR’s 2016 Installation of Officers and Awards Gala on January 20, 2016.
Kim has been a Realtor® and NEFAR member since 2006, and a member of the RE/MAX Unlimited brokerage in Nocatee. She is an active member of the NEFAR Education Committee and served as co-chair in 2013-14. A strong advocate for continuing education and professional development for Realtors, Kim completed 42 hours of continuing education herself in 2014-2015. She has earned not only her Florida real estate broker’s license, but also numerous certifications, including GRI, CRS, ABR and LMC.
Kim was instrumental in helping to establish and coordinate the first REBar Camp in northeast Florida, an open, participatory, workshop-style event that enables real estate professionals to share best practices and ideas. She continues to play an active role in staging/coordinating the local REBar Camp, while contributing her time and talents to help serve NEFAR and its members.
Says RE/MAX Unlimited broker Brenda Horst, “Kim is the first person to offer to help with any need we have in the office. She is consistently helping at NEFAR and is involved with other organizations. I don’t know how she is able to do all she does and still maintain her standing as a top producer and Platinum Club member, which is amazing.”
